Terms and rates
At Colaborativa, it's not about "worked hours". It's about delivered value. Different team members have different rates, according to the role and seniority. That's why the difference between worked hours and budget hours (or just "hours"). For us, "hours" reflect, as much as possible, the delivered value.
We charge for:
- Meetings&communications (minutes, release reports, status reports)
- Project Management
- Testing activities
- Bugfixing
- Maintenance&Support
- Upgrades
- Installation&setup
- Deployment
- Research
- Prototyping
- Development
- Estimates (complex ones)
- ... and any other activity needing time and love from our team, devoted to the goals of the project
We don't charge for
- Contributing work back to the open source community
- Tasks related to internal quality processes
- Specific training time: usually has a discount (not higher than 50%). Also, specific research that may result in know-how considered valuable for Colaborativa's future. In either case, a previous agreement must exist before the discounts can apply.
Payments schedule
- 50% of the estimated total upfront.
- 80% of the estimated total completed for the Beta release.
- 100% (of the total hours spent) completed upon final acceptance of all the deliverables.
Invoice net term
10 days after receiving the invoice (via eletronic email o snail mail)
Payment methods available
- Paypal (for payments up to USD 800)
- International bank wire transfer (for payments higher than USD 800)
